Don Scanlon
Don started as in independent distributor for S. Rosen’s in 1979 with a route territory consisting of the Skokie, Niles and Evanston area. In 1998, he was offered a retail district sales manager position for Service Distributors/Alpha Baking. He was responsible for overseeing and managing 13 independent distributors. Some sales management responsibilities include helping build the independent distributors’ businesses by acquiring more space in stores, soliciting new accounts, suggesting order procedures, managing stale product, building strong working relations with store managers and store owners. In 2003, Don was offered the sales position of Frozen Retail Bakery/Deli Sales Manager, responsible for all frozen retail bakery and deli business for Alpha Baking, as well as, acquire new frozen retail bakery and deli business on a national level and is the Northeast Sales Manager.

Tammy Stewart
As a National Sales Developement Manager, Tammy is responsible for growing sales from Virginia to Maine and Springfield, IL. Duties include opening up new markets and distributors, training brokers and distributor sales reps, making product presentations on new items, being an active participant at food shows, working one-on-one with end users to get them the products they need and want, and building positive relationships with all these people, so that they know that Alpha Baking is a company they can rely on for their bread needs.

Mark A. Morrison
Previously a broker for Alpha Baking in Iowa, Sales Manager Mark Morrison joined the Alpha team in 2001. He manages the lower Midwest region. In 2004, the region grew to includes Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas (Dallas, Lubbock), New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona. He’s responsible for follow-up, market visits and face-to-face meetings with customers and brokers.

Milton Shiver
Working the southeast sales region including Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas (Houston, San Antonio, Austin), and Arkansas, Milton is responsible for implementing the sales tools to eleven brokers who act as the sales arm for Alpha Baking in theses markets. This would also include sales training for the brokers and the implementation of marketing programs with distributors. Milton, having been with Alpha Baking since 2001, has a BBA in Marketing and Management from West Georgia College.

David Robinson
Dave is the latest addition to Alpha's sales force, joining the company in early 2009 as Western Regional Sales Manager. He is responsible for managing, developing, and growing the business in the following states: California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Montana. Dave brings more than 20 years of foodservice experience to the position. He lives with his wife, Dorothy, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Adam Hitchman
A graduate of Loyola University, Adam began his career at Alpha Baking as a shipping clerk in 2004 and was promoted to marketing manager in 2005.  Adam began sales management training during the fall of 2008 and was promoted to U.S. Foodservice National Sales Development Manager during the summer of 2009.  Adam resides in the Chicago metro area.
